For those who haven't met me yet, I'm Nick. I'm a deaf-mute, and although the Nabu is making it easy for me to communicate via text, I was talking to 8 and we decided it would be best if everyone learned some sign language from me, too. It seems like we might end up in a lot of situations where being quiet is the best course of action. And of course, that'll be the quickest way for you to communicate with me in a hurry, so we don't have to both sit and type back and forth.

If you sign up, you'll need to commit to it. It'll be like any kind of language acquisition. It takes constant practice, time, and effort, so you don't lose it, and so you can build on what you've learned in the past.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll figure out how many people want to gather for this.

I'd really hope we're all wise enough to recognize the benefits without anyone needing to be forced, but I suppose we'll see.

You never know. We don't know what Ishtar was looking for when she decided to bring us all here.

True. For that matter, the point of bringing some of us here seems to be almost negated by the place itself.

[ Why bring sorcerers when their magic is almost entirely cut off? Maybe Loki has some other skills that make sense here, but Megumi has two modes: 1) jujutsu and 2) punch things. ]

I should ask, I guess. I don't...get the impression she's got much knowledge about magic, though.
